Feast World Kitchen
A New Chef, A New Culture—Every Day
Our nonprofit restaurant is open to the public, and it’s a great place to try authentic international cuisine! But it’s more than a restaurant. We offer multiple holistic programs to empower Spokane's Immigrant and former Refugee communities to develop skills, grow connections, share culture, and build flourishing lives in the U.S.
Making Spokane a more hospitable and delicious place to live.

Wednesday, December 17th
Diego| Colombia
Chef Diego was born in Colombia and is continuing his seven year career in the culinary arts that has spanned four countries. Cooking is his passion and was inherited from his mother, who was a chef for more than 38 years. Chef Diego has a degree in gastronomy, and strengthened his skills for five years in Ecuador. He loves to think about how much people will enjoy his food, and uses that as inspiration to give the best of everything he’s learned. We’re excited to welcome Chef Diego to Feast. Come and enjoy the flavors of Colombia.
Thursday, December 18th
Emily| Taiwan
Chef Emily was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to America when she was 18. Growing up in Taiwan, one of the places she liked to go was the night market, where affordable street foods such as basil popcorn chicken, bubble tea, and scallion pancakes were easily accessible. To fulfill her Taiwanese food cravings, she discovered her passion for cooking. Emily loves sharing her culture through food with friends and family, and is so glad to be a part of the community at Feast where she can share her culture through authentic cuisine.
Friday, December 19th
Abdelrahman| Syria
Chef Abdelrahman left Syria 10 years ago and moved to Lebanon with his family—his mom, dad, and six siblings. Currently, four of his siblings have made it to the USA, with two more waiting to join. He has worked in a bakery for the last 10 years but the war forced him and his siblings to work to support their parents. Chef Abdulrahman has a dream he wants to achieve, and he believes that Feast World Kitchen can help him reach it.
Saturday, December 20th
Mitra Bhandan | Bhutan
Chef Mitra draws inspiration from her home country, which borders both India and China. Come for the pork thukpa and stay for the Nepali salad, lentil daal, masala chai, and spicy tomato chutney.
Sunday, December 21st
Seenam & Lounjin| Kurdistan
Seenam and Lounjin, a sister duo, are sharing the taste of their heritage through authentic Kurdish cuisine made from cherished family recipes. Born in Kurdistan, they fled the hardships of war and came to the United States with resilience, hope, and a dream for a better future. While pursuing careers as doctors, they're serving up flavors of home here at Feast. Each plate tells a story of survival and celebrates the community they now call home.
