  • Over $1.3 Million in take-home profits have gone to the former refugee and immigrant families who have cooked in our restaurant and catering programs!

  • Hundreds more people have been given vital support (jobs/housing/English/connections) by Table Time, the drop-in Community Resource Navigation program housed in our dining room, which was launched in late 2022.

Blast From The Past Fundraiser Day!

On Saturday May 27, we'll be sharing stories from our current nonprofit work at Feast while serving food that is a bit different from our regular international cuisine! As we look to the future, we'll enjoy "blast from the past" foods! We're planning to have a special ticketed FUNdraiser event at Feast with 3 options for guests: breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Breakfast will include Ross Carper's signature biscuits & gravy (and more!) from back when he owned the Compass Breakfast Wagon. Lunch and dinner will include our best attempt at replicating Arctic Circle's cheese burgers, criss-cut fries w/ fry sauce, with grape "lime rickey" to drink! Arctic Circle was the original occupant of our building and operated here for about 5 decades!

World Cup Brazilian Soccer & Brazilian Food!

Brazil is playing Cameroon in the World Cup at 11am Pacific Time on December 2! Brazilian Chefs Patricia and Camila and Chef Jonathan from Nigeria (next door to Cameroon) are excited to host a watch party that will feature a head-to-head lunch entree competition! During the game, the lunch special will feature both Brazilian and Cameroonian traditional dishes, and guests will vote on their favorite to see who wins the match!

Sukkot Venezuelan Fundraiser Day!

Sunday October 9, 2022  FEAST World Kitchen’s profits will be donated to fund mental health services at a medical clinic in Cucuta, Colombia that is serving migrant women fleeing Venezuela.  Enjoy delicious Colombian and Venezuelan food prepared by Colombian and Venezuelan chefs for LUNCH and DINNER  and help support this worthwhile cause.  Anyone wishing to make an extra donation above and beyond their meal purchase will be able to do so either online when pre-ordering their meals or for orders placed in-person at the cash register. 

Two organizations with Jewish roots are raising funds to support this medical center. One is HIAS, which for more than 130 years has been helping refugees rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. The other is Cadena, a Jewish humanitarian group based in Mexico.  HIAS staff actually work at this center. 

The date of this event coincides with the beginning of the Jewish festival of Sukkot, which resonates deeply with the Jewish community as we give thanks for the fall harvest and commemorate 40 years of wandering in the desert.   

At 6 pm Sunday October 9th, Bonnie Mandel will give a brief overview of the Venezuelan emigration crisis and the services provided at the clinic.  She will also explain the Sukkot holiday.    Come by FEAST then to learn more!

This event is a fundraiser for a charity dental clinic in Afghanistan that Yalda is very connected to, and you’ll also learn about their work.
