Mothers for Peace: A Day of Shared Compassion & Cuisine

Join us at Feast World Kitchen on Nov 12 for Mothers for Peace: a day of shared Israeli and Palestinian cuisines by several local chefs who are daughters of Israeli and Palestinian mothers. Amidst sorrow over events in Gaza and Israel, we unite in support, guided by our belief in everyone's right to freedom, dignity, equality, and safety.

All net proceeds from Sunday’s food sales will go to the Parents Circle Families Forum (PCFF).  PCFF is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization founded in 1995 and made up of hundreds of families whose common bond is that they have lost a close family member to the conflict. But instead of choosing revenge, they have chosen a path of reconciliation. PCFF is managed jointly through a Palestinian and Israeli staff who organize dialogue groups in Israel and Palestine as well as in schools and also run youth summer camp and other joint programs to teach facilitation and dialogue.
